Lunar High-Gain Antenna — TVAC Qualification

Developed test methodology for the MK1 "Endurance" lunar lander's high-gain antenna — including its first-ever deployment inside a thermal vacuum chamber replicating the temperature and vacuum of space. This antenna will deliver high-rate telemetry and video from the Moon's South Pole.

Designed a self-forming mobile ad-hoc network over software-defined radios for ultra-reliable low-latency communication between AI-piloted aircraft and ground control — tripling data-link performance versus the baseline architecture.

Triple-redundant ground command & control communication system combining Starlink, LTE, and point-to-point RF links, monitored in real time with Prometheus and Grafana. Result: zero ground-to-air downtime across the flight test campaign.

Led design and proof-of-concept development for private LTE/5G deployments for major retail, automotive, and university clients — vendor-agnostic vRAN/O-RAN evaluation, SAS spectrum strategy, and 300+ site integrations nationwide.

Massive MIMO & MVDR Beamforming

Algorithm development and OTA validation for 16×16 beamforming and 64×64 massive-MIMO antenna arrays per 3GPP 5G NR — including MVDR beamforming simulation/testing and physical-layer security research for ad-hoc networks.

FBG Fiber-Optic Sensors

Development and performance testing of fiber Bragg grating sensors and DWDM components — solving signal degradation problems at the physical layer where it all started.

RFID + Fingerprint Security System

Undergraduate capstone: an RFID card access system hardened with fingerprint identification — the first project that fused radio and security, and set the trajectory for everything after.
